The Smokefree Families database has been tailored to meet data outcomes required to feedback on the project to commissioners, all reporting requirements are built into the system. There is flexibility to modify the system to meet the needs on an local, regional or national smokefree families/homes projects.   In the last 12 months Smokefree families has had over 2000 families sign up. This year we have upgraded the system that now allows us to make electronic referrals to the Liverpool Quit With Us system and vice versa. We can now also keep in touch with parents via text messaging, email and mail merge.   We would recommend this system to commissioners and providers who are leading in Reducing Childrens Exposure to Second Hand Smoke.
