01 Our story
Started in 2005, still run by the people who started it
We have gone deep in one field in particular, rather than broad across many.
AN Computing was founded in 2005 to deliver software that actually changes how an organisation works. In the years since, that has taken us deep into one field in particular: the systems public health teams and local authorities use to run services and report on them.
When you work with us you get a genuinely mixed team — designers, engineers and testers who have seen a lot of projects and know where they go wrong. You also get the same people from first workshop to live service. Nothing is handed off to a third party you have never met.
We will not recommend a process change or a new platform unless it brings you a competitive advantage. Technology is a means to success, not an end in itself.

Very often a solution becomes obvious the moment the problem is seen through someone else's eyes. Our cross-functional approach is built around exactly that — putting complementary viewpoints on the same problem so you arrive at an answer faster.
